The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding and supports for people with disability. It gives eligible people greater choice and control and allows them to access the services that they require based on their individual needs.
Is my Child eligible?
You can find out if your child/ young person is eligible for funding under the NDIS by calling the National Disability Insurance Agency on 1800 900 110 or going to NDIS Access Checklist . If you are eligible you will be sent forms to complete and return to the NDIS, who will then process your registration.
My child is under 6. Who do I contact about the NDIS?
E.A.C.H. is the Early Childhood Early Intervention partner with the NDIS for our area. They can be contacted on 1300 003 224
What if my child is over 6?
Settlement Services International are the local contacts. To contact the NSW Local Area Coordination team please call 1800 960 975 or emailSSILAC@ndis.gov.au

Can I keep using my current services at Bridges For Learning?
YES! All families can continue being supported by Bridges for Learning if you choose.We look forward to being able to continue to provide high quality, specialised supports to children, young people and their families who require it.
Can I talk to someone?
Our staff members are able to answer your questions about NDIS and assist you as you and your family move to this new system.
You can also contact the NDIS on 1800 800 110 or at ndis.gov.au
If you are already a Bridges for Learning client, one of the staff will talk with you during your session to provide any assistance you may require with the transition process.
